ALICE PEARSON

Alice was born and raised in Hampden and Bangor. Alice’s career in the legal field started in 1974 when she began working as a legal secretary for Mitchell & Stearns.

In 1985 Alice and her husband, Alan, moved to Waterville where she was a legal secretary and later in Augusta where she worked in litigation support, real estate and municipal law departments. Alice returned to Bangor in 1992, working as a legal secretary and later as a paralegal. As a paralegal, she concentrated on real estate, with principal responsibilities preparing real estate documents, pre-closing and post-closing title insurance documents, closing documents, and settlement statements. In 2004 she began work as a paralegal with Lanham & Blackwell, P.A., continuing her work in the real estate department and assisting the firm’s attorneys with probate matters, estate planning and corporations.

Alice currently lives in Bangor with her husband and family and takes pride in raising Ben --- a very special Labrador retriever. In her free time, Alice enjoys hiking the coast and mountains of Maine, traveling, and playing tennis.
